Surveys, artwork and games - Опросы, рисование и игры

Following are some pictures of us working on creating and recording surveys, playing our favorite choice time activities and working cooperatively to play math games.

We discovered that asking questions and recording the results was really fun.

Playing math games with shapes is also fun.  There are many ways to fill the hexagon.
Играть с фигурами в математические игры так же весело. Есть много разных способов построить восьмиугольник.

Blocks are always a favorite choice time activity.
Строть с кубиками - самый любимый выбор.

Coloring and artwork are also favorites.
Так же как рисование.

Creating and recording surveys takes a lot of hard work.
Заниматься исследованиями это очень трудная работа.

Counters in a cup is another game we play to practice taking turns and counting.
Счет в стаканчике, еще одна игра которая учит нас считать и следовать очереди.

Декорирование - Decorating

 Мы усердно работали над созданием своего дома. Мы создали комнаты которые нам нужны и украсили мебелью, которая нам нравиться. Было весело!

We were working hard on creating our own house, with rooms we need and furniture we like. It was fun!

This morning we enjoyed a play in the rain as the water started falling during our Sports Day.  Even though we all got thoroughly soaked- we had a great time!  Thank you PE department for such a fun day.

Brick Factory Field Trip

11 Апреля 2012 года, наш класс отправился на кирпичный завод, чтоб узнать как и из чего делаются кирпичи. Поездка прошла замечательно, детям очень понравилось, они задавали много вопросов и узнали много нового.

April 11, 2012 Kindergarten went for a trip to the Brick Factory, to discover how and what bricks are made of. It was fun, kids asked a lot of questions and learned many interesting things.

Conferences

What a fantastic day!  Everyone was able to share their work with a parent or two today.  It was very exciting for me to be able to see and hear all the explanations about what it is we do every day in kindergarten.  Everyone was engaged and had plenty of information to share with you.  I think there were a few families that would have stayed all day long if they could have!

We hope to see you at school again this Thursday, April 12 from 5:45-7:30 for our Celebrate Reading night here at school.  Miss Sayyora has great things planned.
